Dr. Kumar Padmanabh is currently working as a senior researcher in Etisalat British Telecom Innovation Center. He has an expertise of multidisciplinary topic of IoT and Sensor Network. He used various form of optimization and artificial intelligence technique on IoT and Sensor Network to derive the solutions for Building Automation and Automotive. Before this, he worked as an Associate Professor in LNMIIT, Jaipur. 

He has a degree of PhD from IIT Kharagpur in Sensor Network and executive management from IIM Bangalore. Until October 2016, he worked in Corporate Research department of Bosch,  Corporate Research Labs of General Motors and Infosys Lab (SETLABS). Before, PhD, he had a brief experience of working in BARC also. Throughout his career, he has been working on various technologies of the Internet of Things (IoT). His PhD was on Sensor Network which is an essential building block of IoT. 

He has expertise on Protocols of IoT, Middleware for IoT, Designing, Development of IoT hardware and large-scale industrial deployments of IoT. For last 4 years, He had been applying the principle of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence on IoT data. All of my recent publications is based on AI in IoT. 

Following are my top-5 achievements:

  1. Adjudged by MIT Technology Review as top 6 researchers of India of year 2010.  
  2. Designed and deployed one of the largest IoT System/Sensor Network (instrumented hundreds of data centres) with help of 5 more engineers. Designed hardware, developed protocols, middleware and application software.
  3. Received highest possible honour of Infosys (for best performance) among 1.5 lacs engineers. 
  4. I have 21+2=23 Patents to my credit most of them are already granted (granted 9 in USA). I have 38 research papers: 9 journals (7 SCI), 2 others Journals and 29 Int Conf Citation= 178 
  5. Invited for expert lecture by many research labs / universities: Indian Institute of Science, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, IITs and other universities. 

I have also been a finalist of Indian Mathematics Olympiad during my school days and my name is listed in Marquis World's Who is Who. I am a senior member of IEEE.

I am actively and intensely pursuing my hobby of creative writing. So far I have written more than three hundred non-technical blog articles. I also managed to publish two book (fiction).  One of my book in maithili can be purchased from flipkart, ebay and simplybooks website. Interestingly I am assuming "Aadi Yaayavar आदि यायावर" as my "pen name" for my writing in maithili.
